CALL FOR wo/manuscripts

"Some philosophies, physical and metaphysical both, hold time an illusion,
a misperception, a trick of the mind, only a tracing of the real but not the real itself.
Sitting here, I believe them, sitting here, I doubt."
--Tom Lynch

Coyote meets Corrina
could be the title of your book.
Maybe not. Either way.
Send it to us. To see if it becomes
winner of Sandy Lee Marie Prize.
Or is it a contest?

Hmm...well in the old fashioned sense of choosing what we love the best it is a contest.
But we don't like competitions so we like to call it a prize.
and in the spirit of poetry highway everyone who sends us their work will receive a giveaway.
Prize here means being published, distributed, loved by Embers.
and if we receive more than $600 reading fees, we will publish TWO books.
you see?
So. It is not a prize in the sense that you send us a book already published.
We publish what we love the best...of that which comes to us for Sandy Lee.

But who is Sandy Lee and why this?
because time undoes what memories allow...

Okay. So. Being published
There will be a release party, regional book tours and...
$600 stipend while in production
